What kind of glue should I use to bond ABS to PP?

In everyday handicrafts and industrial production, we often encounter the need to bond ABS and PP materials.
While these two plastics each have their advantages, they also present the challenge of bonding.
ABS has high hardness and a smooth surface, while PP is a typical non-polar material with low surface energy, making it difficult for traditional adhesives to achieve ideal bonding results.
First, it's important to understand that ABS and PP are different types of plastics. Directly using ordinary white glue or 502 glue often results in weak adhesion and easy detachment.
This is because ABS is a polar plastic, while PP is a non-polar plastic. The molecular forces between polar and non-polar materials are weaker, making it difficult for ordinary adhesives to penetrate and bond.
Therefore, it's necessary to first treat the PP surface with a specialized surface treatment agent to improve the substrate's surface activity and adhesion. Then, apply adhesive.
For PP surface treatment agents, the Kanglibang brand is a good choice. A reputable brand offers assurance.
