In terms of speed, room-temperature quick-drying adhesives are the best choice. They cure in seconds, provide strong bonding strength, and minimize whitening. In terms of performance, room-temperature slow-drying adhesives are the best. After curing, they are as flexible as silicone rubber and offer diverse properties such as waterproofing, heat resistance, and aging resistance, along with excellent sealing properties.
For injection molding or compression molding, hot-vulcanizing adhesives are the only choice. There are also solid silicone and liquid silicone adhesives. Solid adhesives are single-component adhesives, where solid silicone and metal are heat-vulcanized in a mold. Liquid adhesives are two-component adhesives used to bond liquid silicone to metal materials and require mixing according to the appropriate proportions before use.
