CL-24S-2D Silicone-to-Epoxy Adhesive is a specialized adhesive for hot-vulcanization molding of unformed silicone rubber and epoxy resin rods (for power insulators and electrical fittings) in molds.
Features of CL-24S-2D Silicone-to-Epoxy Adhesive:
1. Excellent bonding to a variety of silicone rubber compounds, including those requiring or not requiring a second-stage cure.
2. Single-component, single-coat application, simplifying processing.
3. Bonded components are resistant to water, salt spray, chemicals, grease, solvents, and other harsh environments.

Processing for Silicone-to-Epoxy Adhesive CL-24S-2D: Surface Treatment: Degrease the substrate by mechanical sandblasting or sandpapering, or chemically treat with alcohol.
1. Glue Application: Apply by brush, dipping, or spraying.
2. Drying: Allow to dry at room temperature for at least 5 minutes; baking is not necessary.
3. Storage: Bonding should be completed as soon as possible after gluing, preferably on the same day. Storage may not exceed 5 days, provided it is protected from contamination and exposure to high temperatures and humidity.
4. Vulcanization: The primary vulcanization process depends on the vulcanization conditions of the rubber compound. The secondary vulcanization process should not exceed 250°C.
Silicone-to-Epoxy Adhesive CL-24S-2D Precautions:
1. Store in a dry, cool place away from heat and open flames.
2. The solvent is volatile, so please tightly close the container after use.
3. Ensure a fire-proof and well-ventilated work area to prevent prolonged inhalation and skin contact.
4. Slight cloudiness does not affect the effectiveness of the product.
