KN-300 is a one-component, room-temperature curing, deoxime-type neutral silicone adhesive that has passed the RHOS certification. This series comes in various models (different colors, different bonding processes, etc.) and is commonly used for bonding silicone to silicone, silicone to ABS/PC and other plastics, silicone to metal, and many other materials. It can be widely applied in silicone product manufacturing, DIY silicone gift creativity, and hobbyist silicone bonding.
Usage Method of Neck Guard Silicone Adhesive KN-30
KN-300 is a room-temperature vulcanizing slow-drying adhesive, and its application method is relatively simple.
1. Clean the surface: Remove all stains from the surface to prevent affecting the bonding effect.
2. Apply adhesive: Evenly spread KN-300 onto the cleaned surface of the object to be bonded.
3. Bonding process: Adhere and fix the two substrates to be bonded together.
4. Potting process: Allow it to cure naturally. The glue extruded should be adhered within 2 minutes; otherwise, the bonding strength will be reduced.
5. Apply RTV silicone adhesive KN-300 evenly, keeping the thickness within 2mm. Adhere the other material to be bonded from one side to the other to facilitate air release. Then apply even pressure with a metal block.
6. Allow it to cure: Usually, it takes 24 hours to fully cure.
