How to remove cured UV glue? Let's learn about it with Xiaokang.
1. You can use a UV glue remover.
2. Remove it by heating.
Because UV glue softens when heated and is easy to peel off. Heating it above the UV glue's temperature resistance will remove the UV glue.
If using a soldering iron for heating, note that this method is for glass products; it's not suitable for plastic products due to difficulty in temperature control.
Acetone and alcohol are both good methods for removing UV glue. Acetone cleans more effectively. It can only be used on glass and PC materials; it should not be used on other materials.
For a physical method, carefully scrape it off little by little with a blade-like tool. This is generally used when the UV glue's adhesion is not very strong and it's easy to scrape off, then clean with alcohol.
1. To remove UV glue, you can gently wipe it with a soft cloth or tissue, or wipe it with acetone or alcohol.
2. If the bonding is poor and the bonded objects need to be separated or removed for re-bonding, you can use methods such as heating with a hairdryer, boiling, steaming, or soaking in acetone or ethanol, depending on the specific glue and material.
3. Most UV glues do not have very strong water resistance, so you can try soaking them in water for a long time to loosen and remove the cured UV glue.
4. You can choose a common UV glue remover. Contacting the remover with the UV glue will soften the glue, making it easier to remove.
