How do you remove cured UV glue? Xiaokang will explain.
1. You can use a UV glue dissolver.
2. Remove by heating.
UV glue softens when heated and is easy to peel. Heat above the UV glue's temperature resistance to remove the glue.
If using an electric iron, be careful when using this method for glass; it's not suitable for plastic, as temperature control is difficult.
Acetone and alcohol are both good methods for removing UV glue. Acetone provides a cleaner finish. It should only be used on glass; avoid using acetone on PC.
For physical methods, be careful and use something like a blade to scrape it off bit by bit. This method is usually used for UV glue with weak adhesion and is easy to scrape off. Then, clean it with alcohol.
1. To remove UV glue, gently wipe it with a soft cloth, wipe it with a paper towel, or use acetone or alcohol.
2. If the adhesive is not adhered well, you will need to separate or remove the adhered objects before re-bonding. Depending on the specific glue used and the material being adhered, you can use a hair dryer to heat, boil, steam, or soak in acetone or ethanol.
3. Most UV adhesives are not very water-resistant, so soaking them in water for a long time can also help remove the adhesive.
4. You can use a commonly used UV adhesive dissolver. Contact with the adhesive will soften the adhesive, making it easier to remove.
