Why do we need to use electronic component fixing glue? Because electronic component fixing glue can protect electronic components and increase their service life. After curing, it can play the role of waterproof, moisture-proof, dust-proof, insulation, heat conduction, confidentiality, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance and shockproof.
The first epoxy resin potting glue used for the potting of electronic components has small shrinkage, no by-products and some electrical insulation properties. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of the molecular structure itself, it is easy to crack after cold and hot cycles and can only be used for the potting of electronic components under normal temperature conditions.
In order to solve the defect of epoxy resin potting glue that is easy to crack, engineers have developed polyurethane potting glue. Polyurethane potting glue has good shock resistance and resistance to cold and hot cycles. After use, the surface of the potting glue is too soft and easy to bubble. The curing is not sufficient and the high temperature curing is easy to become brittle. The potting surface is not smooth and has poor toughness. It is easy to age and has a short life. It has poor UV resistance and is easy to discolor. It has poor acid and alkali resistance.
Electronic component fixing glue has a wide range of uses and a high usage rate. It is a necessity for current industrial use. In addition to its high-quality performance, almost all electronic components on the market are sealed and protected with potting glue.
