Silicone and PVC adhesive

According to the different technologies of silicone to PVC bonding, our company has the following glue for customers to choose:

Process 1: molding silica gel to be bonded with PVC at room temperature; speed type: first, silicone primer k770-3 is used to treat the silicone interface to be bonded;

Once again, apply a small amount of glue 601/490 on the interface between the two materials to be bonded (one side is ok) (generally, a small drop of glue on a large area is ok);

Finally, press the two together for a few seconds.

Note: advantages of this process: fast bonding speed, strong bonding relay;

Disadvantages: not waterproof, temperature below 160°C, glue with more white phenomenon.

Process 2: molding silica gel and PVC at room temperature adhesion, slow dry type: first with toluene or alcohol cleaning silica gel and PVC surface (to remove oil and dust);

Secondly, PVC surface was treated with silicone treating agent cl-24s-8 and placed at room temperature for 30 minutes or 80°C for baking for 15 minutes.

Once again, apply silicone glue kn-300 evenly on the interface between the two sticks, and finally combine the two sticks and fix or press them for 10-12 hours

Note: advantages of this process: slow bonding speed, firm bonding, waterproof, sealing, high temperature resistance 280°C, uv protection, original elasticity and toughness of silicone, etc. Disadvantages: slow bonding speed.

Process 3: platinum catalytic silicone and PVC hot vulcanization molding: first with toluene cleaning silicone and PVC surface (to remove oil and dust);

Secondly, PVC surface was treated with silicone treating agent cl-24s-8 and placed at room temperature for 30 minutes or 80°C for baking for 15 minutes.

Finally with the silicone hot vulcanization molding (molding or injection molding).

Note: advantages of this process: fast bonding speed, firm bonding, waterproof, sealing, high temperature resistance 280°C, uv protection, original elasticity and toughness of silicone, etc. Disadvantages: required temperature.
